The Society

Oxford University Engineering Society (OUEngSoc) was established in 1998 and is now one of the largest societies in the university, with over 500 paying members and a mailing list of 1300 students.

Throughout the year, we host a variety of in-demand social and networking events, and continually seek to forge links with industry leaders, enabling our members to form long-lasting connections and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to access their chosen career paths.

Members pay a one-time fee of £10 to access all society events, and our membership includes students from a range of backgrounds, including Engineering Science, Materials Science, Economics and Management, and Physics.

We recognise that previous OUEngSoc members have followed successful careers within Engineering, Finance and Management organisations and actively look to provide opportunities for students and such companies to interact.
