Join us on Thursday 5th November at 5pm for a talk + Q&A from Professor David Howey, Associate Professor of Engineering Science at Oxford University
Professor David Howey from the Battery Intelligence Lab- ‘Data-driven battery health diagnosis in real-world applications’
‘Batteries are everywhere and are becoming increasingly important for electric cars and renewable energy integration on the power grid. Accurate diagnostics and prognostics of battery health improves overall system performance. This allows industry to unlock value by detecting faults and improving maintenance, extending operational range, and understanding asset depreciation. However, battery aging is complex and caused by many interacting factors. This talk will discuss recent approaches to tackle some of these exciting topics, including implementation of machine learning techniques for health prediction.’
